In Mexico, the Monthly Survey of Business Opinion (EMOE) measures the expectations of business executives regarding production, capacity utilization, employment and inventories, in the short, medium and long run. The survey also trials the expectations concerning the general economic environment and how it may affect business activity. Sentiment deteriorated regarding the country's present economic situation (52.4 vs 52.9 in May) and its future evolution (56.5 vs 56.9). Meanwhile, manufacturers grew less positive about the company's present situation (at 54.9 vs 55.9) but preserved their stance on future dvelopments (59.7 vs 59.7).
